World TV & Radio ("the App") is developed and operated by Knopper ("we", "us", "our"). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal data to provide and improve the App:

• Anonymous usage data: app version, device model, and OS version. This helps us fix bugs and improve compatibility.
• Approximate location (country): determined from your IP address to set your default language and show relevant content. This data is not stored or shared.
• Account data: if you register, we store your username, email address, and an encrypted password on our server. This is used solely for authentication.
• Session data: a secure session token is stored locally on your device using Android encrypted storage (EncryptedSharedPreferences).

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not track your browsing habits or listening history on our servers.
• We do not collect contacts, SMS, call logs, photos, or files.
• We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the App's features (radio streaming, TV playback, favorites).
• To authenticate registered users and manage subscriptions.
• To detect and fix technical issues.
• To set the appropriate language and country defaults.

4. Data Storage & Security

Account credentials are transmitted over HTTPS and stored with hashed passwords on our server. Session tokens on your device are protected using Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences with AES-256 encryption. We do not store payment card details — payments are processed by third-party providers (Google Play, PayPal, Revolut).

5. Third-Party Services

The App may interact with the following third-party services:

• Google Play Billing — for subscription processing.
• ACRCloud — for song identification (WiPay feature). Audio fingerprints are sent to ACRCloud's servers for matching; no audio recordings are stored.

Each service operates under its own privacy policy.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your account and data.
• Withdraw consent for anonymous data collection at any time from the App's Settings.

As the App is operated from Romania (EU member state), your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are respected.

8. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymous usage statistics are not linked to individual users and may be retained indefinitely in aggregate form.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
