Community Guidelines

Amoris — Match & Date ("the App", "the Service", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Knopper (knopper.ro), is a dating platform designed to help adults build genuine, meaningful connections. These Community Guidelines exist to ensure that every member feels safe, respected, and valued.

By using Amoris, you agree to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination at our sole discretion.

1. Eligibility & Age Requirement

• Age Verification: Every user must provide their date of birth during registration. Users who do not meet the minimum age requirement are automatically blocked from creating an account.
• Accurate Birthdate: Providing a false date of birth to circumvent the age restriction is a violation of these guidelines and our Terms of Service, and will result in immediate, permanent account termination.
• Ongoing Enforcement: If we discover or receive a report that a user is under 18, the account will be immediately and permanently removed without notice.
• Legal Compliance: In jurisdictions where the legal age of consent or app use is higher than 18, the higher age applies.

2. Respect & Authenticity

Amoris is a community built on genuine human connection. Every interaction should be grounded in mutual respect, honesty, and consideration.

Be Yourself

• Use your real name (or your commonly used first name) and recent, accurate photos of yourself.
• Accurately represent your age, identity, and intentions on the platform.
• Do not impersonate another person, celebrity, public figure, or fictional character.
• Do not create multiple accounts or use someone else's identity or photos.

Be Respectful

• Treat every user the way you would like to be treated.
• Accept that not every match or conversation will lead to a connection — and handle rejection gracefully.
• Respect boundaries. If someone is not interested, do not persist.
• Respect diverse backgrounds, cultures, beliefs, gender identities, and sexual orientations.

3. Prohibited Content

The following types of content are strictly forbidden on Amoris. This applies to profile photos, bios, messages, and any other user-generated content:

Hate Speech & Discrimination

• Content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Slurs, dehumanizing language, or symbols associated with hate groups.

Violence & Threats

• Threats of violence or physical harm against any individual or group.
• Graphic depictions of violence, gore, or self-harm.
• Content that promotes, glorifies, or encourages violent acts or terrorism.

Nudity & Sexual Content

• Fully nude photos, sexually explicit images, or pornographic content.
• Profile photos depicting sexual acts or overtly sexual poses.
• Sexually suggestive content involving or appearing to involve minors (absolute zero tolerance — see Section 8).

Illegal Activity

• Content promoting, facilitating, or depicting illegal activities including but not limited to: drug trafficking, weapons sales, human trafficking, prostitution or solicitation, money laundering, or fraud.
• Sharing or soliciting controlled substances, prescription medications, or illegal weapons.

Misinformation & Harmful Content

• Deliberately false or misleading health, safety, or political information that could cause real-world harm.
• Conspiracy theories that target or endanger specific groups of people.

4. Prohibited Behavior

The following behaviors are not tolerated on Amoris:

Harassment & Bullying

• Unwanted, repeated, or aggressive contact after someone has indicated they are not interested.
• Insulting, demeaning, or belittling other users.
• Coordinated attacks, brigading, or encouraging others to harass a specific user.
• Doxxing — sharing or threatening to share another person's private information.

Stalking & Intimidation

• Monitoring, following, or tracking another user’s activity on or off the platform.
• Showing up uninvited at someone's home, workplace, or any private location.
• Creating new accounts to contact someone who has blocked you.

Sexual Harassment

• Sending unsolicited sexual content, explicit messages, or nude images.
• Pressuring users for sexual favors, explicit photos, or sexual conversations.
• Making sexually degrading or objectifying comments.

Manipulation & Coercion

• Blackmail, extortion, or threatening to share private conversations or images.
• Emotional manipulation, "love bombing" with deceptive intent, or gaslighting.
• Sextortion — threatening to release intimate images unless demands are met.

5. Photos & Media Standards

Your profile photos are the first impression on Amoris. They must be genuine, appropriate, and yours.

All profile photos and media uploads are subject to automated screening and human moderation review. Content that violates these standards will be removed without notice.

6. Messaging & Communication

Conversations on Amoris should be consensual, respectful, and appropriate:

• Consent is key: Do not send explicit content unless the other person has clearly and enthusiastically consented.
• No spamming: Do not send repetitive, mass, or copy-paste messages to multiple users.
• No solicitation: Do not use messages to solicit money, promote products or services, or direct users to external websites or apps.
• No harassment: If someone does not respond or asks you to stop, respect their decision immediately.
• No sharing of private conversations: Do not screenshot, share, or publicly post private conversations without the other person’s explicit consent.

7. Safety & Privacy

Protect Your Personal Information

• Do not share your home address, workplace address, financial details, or government ID numbers with people you have not met in person.
• Be cautious about sharing your last name, phone number, or social media profiles early in a conversation.
• Never share your Amoris login credentials with anyone.

Protect Others

• Do not share, publish, or distribute another user's personal information, photos, or private conversations without their explicit written consent.
• Do not record video calls, phone calls, or in-person meetings without the other party's knowledge and consent.

8. Child Safety — Zero Tolerance

• No minors on the platform: Users under 18 are strictly prohibited. Accounts discovered to belong to minors are immediately removed.
• Grooming prohibited: Any attempt to groom, solicit, or communicate with minors in a sexual or exploitative manner is strictly forbidden and will be reported to authorities.
• Content depicting minors: Any sexualized content involving or appearing to involve minors — whether real, digitally generated, or AI-created — is absolutely forbidden.
• Mandatory reporting: We comply with 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, EU Directive 2011/93/EU, and applicable local laws. All identified CSAM/CSAE incidents are reported to NCMEC via the CyberTipline, Romanian Police (DIICOT), Interpol, and relevant local law enforcement agencies worldwide.
• Evidence preservation: Digital records, IP logs, timestamps, and account identifiers are preserved for law enforcement proceedings.

9. Human Trafficking & Exploitation

• Using Amoris to recruit, transport, transfer, harbor, or exploit any person is strictly forbidden.
• Soliciting or offering prostitution, escort services, or transactional sexual encounters is prohibited.
• Any suspicious activity suggesting trafficking or exploitation will be immediately reported to law enforcement, including the National Human Trafficking Hotline, Interpol, and local authorities.
• If you are a victim of trafficking or believe another user may be a victim, please report immediately through the app or contact us at [email protected].

10. Scams, Spam & Commercial Activity

Amoris is for genuine personal connections, not commercial gain. The following are prohibited:

Financial Scams & Fraud

• Requesting money, gifts, cryptocurrency, or financial information from other users.
• "Romance scams" — building a fake emotional relationship to extract money or financial favors.
• Phishing — attempting to trick users into revealing passwords, banking details, or personal data.
• Investment scams, pyramid schemes, or get-rich-quick pitches.

Spam & Bots

• Automated accounts, bots, or scripts designed to interact with users.
• Mass-messaging, copy-paste outreach, or repetitive unsolicited contact.
• Fake profiles created solely for advertising, data harvesting, or driving traffic elsewhere.

Commercial & Promotional Activity

• Advertising products, services, businesses, or events.
• Promoting or redirecting users to other apps, websites, social media accounts, or platforms.
• Soliciting followers, subscribers, or customers.
• Multi-level marketing, affiliate marketing, or any form of commercial solicitation.

11. Offline & In-Person Meeting Safety

• Meet in public: Always arrange first meetings in busy, well-lit public places (cafés, restaurants, parks).
• Tell someone: Let a friend or family member know where you are going, who you are meeting, and when you expect to return.
• Arrange your own transport: Drive yourself or use your own ride to and from the meeting location. Do not accept rides from your date on the first meeting.
• Stay sober: Limit alcohol consumption and never leave your drink unattended.
• Trust your instincts: If something feels wrong, leave. You are never obligated to stay.
• Do not share your home address: Wait until you have built trust before sharing where you live.
• Video call first: Use Amoris messaging or a video call to verify the person matches their profile before meeting.

If you ever feel unsafe during a date or experience any form of violence, harassment, or assault, contact your local emergency services immediately (112 in the EU, 911 in the US).

12. Reporting & Enforcement

Our Moderation Process

• Automated Detection: We use automated systems to scan for prohibited content, fake profiles, and suspicious behavior patterns.
• Human Review: All flagged content and user reports are reviewed by trained human moderators who evaluate context and intent.
• Priority Escalation: Reports involving child safety, violence, or imminent danger are treated with the highest priority and reviewed immediately.
• Confidentiality: Reporter identities are kept confidential. We do not disclose who reported a user.

13. Consequences of Violations

Depending on the severity, frequency, and nature of the violation, enforcement actions may include:

• Content Removal: Violating photos, bio text, or messages are removed without notice.
• Warning: A formal warning is issued for first-time minor violations.
• Temporary Suspension: Account access is restricted for a defined period (24 hours to 30 days).
• Permanent Ban: The account is permanently terminated with no option to create a new one. Applies immediately for serious violations including CSAM, trafficking, threats of violence, and harassment.
• Law Enforcement Referral: Violations involving illegal activity, child exploitation, trafficking, or threats are reported to the appropriate law enforcement agencies with all available evidence.

14. Appeals Process

If you believe your account was wrongly suspended or banned, you may submit an appeal:

• Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Account Appeal".
• Include your registered email address, a description of what happened, and any supporting information.
• Our team will review your appeal within 5–10 business days and respond with a final decision.
• Appeals for violations involving child safety, trafficking, or violence will not be granted.
